Lucy Boisvert

I am a Greenpoint-based artist living and working just off the G train. While I am comfortable in all mediums, I specialize in oil portraiture and still life. In my work I am most drawn to the beauty of mundane scenes that often go unnoticed in our day-to-day lives. I enjoy capturing the easy-to-miss parts of everyday living, from messy bedside tables to candid moments with loved ones around the dining table or on the couch. I strive to depict real life in the way that real people live it.
